The blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.

Blockchain is a distributed database that maintains information/order/records called blocks. The data grows constantly, so a ‘completed block’ is linked with a new block with fresh information. Each new set of block contains a timestamp and references and identifies the previous block by a hashing function, forming a chain.

Blockchains are secure by design as they are inherently resistant to modification- once recorded, the data in a block cannot be altered retroactively. The technology can be used to record transactions between two parties effectively and in a verifiable and permanent manner. Moreover, Blockchain itself can be programmed to automatically trigger transactions.
                                
Ethereum is an open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications.

One of the major problems faced during transportation of goods is that they get tampered with or sometimes unauthorized users get access to them leading to misuse and loss to the company.

Incidents of theft from delivery vehicles are occurring nationwide and seem to be increasing. These incidents are causing havoc across the country’s supply chains leading to loss of hundreds of crores.

In such case a Smart Lock (Digital Safe) that protects valuable assets in transit and provides access to only authorized users could be useful. These locks should also be able to detect tampering and attempts to unlock by unauthorized persons and at unauthorized locations.
The admin of the system should be able to add authorized users who can have access  these locks. All the data should be stored on a Cloud for future reference and ease of access by other concerned authorities whenever required.

The teams are encouraged to innovate further to design and implement an IoT- based system to ensure safety of goods.

Machine learning is an application of AI that discovers patterns in data and predicts outcomes without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning uses data to create, test, and train AI.

3. Scope of AI/ML in Computer Vision Technology:
Computer vision technology is applied to acquire, handle, analyze and understand digital images and video data from the real world to gain a high-level understanding of it. This domain has its application in vast fields, it covers everything from cancer detection, to attendance tracking, to security management, to traffic management. This promising field is limited only by the confines of human imagination.

You are required to develop a novel and innovative real time application which uses ML/AI to further explore the depths of image processing or some other computer vision technology.

Jivandeep Health Services is a startup which focuses on providing health services through social media impact. Ravindra Singh Kshatri says, “We want to build a connected health service system to facilitate  in organ donation, blood donation and so much more”.

In case of an emergency, the most important life-saver is Blood. Blood Banks are the main providers of blood, which receive blood from various donors, monitor the blood group database for emergencies and makes the information available to the hospital whenever needed. The major problem faced by the blood bank is the availability of the donor at the right time.

We, hereby require a system where people can help each other in need. We need a Blood Donation Management application (Android) where:

• The Blood banks can timely update the Blood Stock availability.

• Donor can register themselves to donate.

• User can find blood availability nearby him/her.

• The ‘urgency time’ of a blood requirement

• User can access information about blood banks, hospitals or donors as required (by matching a particular or related field) and reach out to them through the App.

• Application tends to provide list of blood banks in user area.

• A large number of blood donors are attracted by the  application.

• Since almost everyone carries a mobile phone with him/her, it ensures instant location tracking and communication.

• Registered user, who can donate blood, can pledge to donate and will be able to access the service.

• In this application, we are using the GPS technology that will be used to guide the way to the blood bank.
